Arusha National Park Day Trip
Around 08:30am pick up from the hotel in Arusha and proceed to Arusha National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. In the afternoon continue game drive, or include an optional activity (Canoeing or walking safari with extra cost). Late afternoon drive back to Arusha / Moshi/Kilimanjaro.
Arusha National Park and Meserani Snake Park day trip
Around 08:30am pick up from the hotel and proceed to Arusha National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. In the afternoon exit the park and drive through Arusha town till Meserani for snake park visit (Snake zoo). Late afternoon drive back to Moshi / Arusha / JRO.
Lake Manyara National Park day trip
Around 06:30am pick up and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. Mid-afternoon exit the park and drive back to Moshi / Arusha / JRO. Note approximate driving time of 4 hours till Moshi from the park
Tarangire National Park day trip
Around 06:30am pick up and proceed to Tarangire National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. Mid-afternoon exit the park and drive back to Moshi / Arusha / JRO /. Note approximate driving time of 3 hours till Moshi from the park
Ngorongoro Conservation Area day trip
Around 06:00am pick up and proceed to Ngorongoro for game drive with picnic lunch. Upon arrival, descend onto the crater floor for game drives. Stop in the afternoon at picnic site for picnic lunch boxes. Mid-late afternoon drives back to Moshi / Arusha / JRO. Note approximate driving time of 4 hours till Moshi from Ngorongoro
Olpopongi Maasai Village day trip safari
Around 08:00am proceed from Moshi/Arusha to West Kilimanjaro. Here you will spend the day in the authentic Maasai-village ‘Olpopongi’ and share the Maasai Life with a traditional lunch. Your day can include Museum & Village Tour / Traditional Lunch / Walking Safari in the Maasai territory / Learning Maasai hunting techniques & more about natural Maasai medicine. Mid to late afternoon drive back to Moshi/Arusha. Note approximate driving time of 1 hour till Moshi and 2 hour till Arusha.
Marangu cultural and waterfall day trip tour
Around 08:00am proceed from Arusha/Moshi to Marangu village. Here you will spend the day walking with one of our Kilimanjaro Mountain guides who grew up in the village. Your day can include visiting banana and coffee farms / visiting museums (Caves, chagga museum) / traditional lunch and local brewed banana beer (Mbege) / local market (Monday and Thursdays) / Waterfalls (Kiasiya or Moonjo or Kunukamori or Ndoro) / Kilimanjaro view point and more. Mid to late afternoon drive back to Moshi/Arusha. Note approximate driving time of 1 hour till Moshi and 3 hours to Arusha.
Lake Challa day trip tour
Day 1 08:00am proceed from Moshi towards East Kilimanjaro / Taveta. From here you will take the small dirt track till Lake Challa safari camp. At Lake Challa, you will proceed for a guided tour and can enjoy sceneries of the Lake from the top of Challa hill / surrounding savannah woodland / crater walls around the lake / views of Kilimanjaro and Mawenzi. Picnic lunch at Lake Challa. The highlight at the lake is a walk through the lake side forest till the shore where swimming is also possible. Mid to late afternoon drive back to Moshi. Note approximate driving time of 1 hour till Moshi
Kilimanjaro Marangu day hike
Around 07:30am pick up and proceed from Arusha/Moshi to Kilimanjaro National Park headquarters at Marangu. After necessary paperwork at the gates, enter the park and walk (3 to 5 hours total) through the rainforest till Mandara huts for picnic lunch. After lunch a side trip to Maundi crater is a good way to see the surroundings as well as views of southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania. Descend through the forest trail back till the park gates where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Moshi/Arusha. Note approximate driving time of 1 hour till Moshi and 3 hours to Arusha.
