Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS (KARATU)
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our driver guide who will be with you for the entire duration of your safari. After a short briefing, you board the safari vehicle and proceed to Tarangire National Park where you spend the day game drives with packed lunch. Later you proceed to the Ngorongoro Highlands (Karatu) in time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – KARATU – NGORONGORO CRATER – KARATU (NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend onto the crater for a game drive with packed lunch. Late afternoon you will be drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS (KARATU) – KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Arusha in time for hot lunch at the Cultural Heritage Centre. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight back home.
